The all-day Training Session will be an opportunity for attendees to hear the history of the DATA Act, the intent of the mandate, and associated opportunities resulting from DATA Act standards. Following this introduction to the DATA Act, attendees will learn how federal agencies have standardized data, how data are used across agencies and in the private sector, what challenges shared services and financial management services have encountered, how financial transparency changes government, and how the framework of the DATA Act will continue to transform the nature of spending reporting methods.
